That's the reason why innovation is an important factor of the Finmeccanica Group, and of course of out Company - Mr Grasso underlined, remembering that during his previous role in Finmeccanica, it was Mr. Grasso himself that launched for the first time the Innovation in 2004 Award along with Mr. Maglione, Mr. Mantovani and Mr. Aparo. "Today the Innovation Award has reached a level of participation, involvement and quality that is extremely important and that characterizes the image of the Group".
"Innovation can be of two types: sustaining innovation, to improve the performances and the competences in an existing market, and the disruptive innovation, to conquer new markets" Gen. Cardinali concluded. "I believe and in this moment and especially in the field of telecommunications, the most important one is the disruptive innovation.
