Given the tragic events that took place the territory of Abruzzo, issues such as citizens' safety and protection of the urban territory reveal themselves in all their dramatic and unalterable actuality.

On may 14th 2009, it took place in Ploiesti the ceremony for the anniversary of the 5 years of activity of Elettra Communications SA, a Finmeccanica company controlled by SELEX Communications, at the presence of the high representatives of the Italian and Romanian governments and of the industries and Defenses of the two countries. In 5 years, the company supplied competitive products in the field of military communications, both for the local and the foreign markets.

SELEX Communications participated at the 157th anniversary if the State Police, which was held in Rome, in Piazza del Popolo and in Ostia, in Largo dei Revennati, from teh 8th to the 10th of May 2009, with a wide program of ceremonies, manifestations and exhibitions.
